Procrastinating

Ugh... I need to finish our taxes. Bleh. I hate doing taxes. I'm not an accountant. I feel like I am guessing my way through it. I think I do okay, but when I get to the car stuff... the depreciation stuff... it gets confusing. So that's where I am. Or at least, where I should be. But instead I thought I'd blog for the second day in a row!! LOL! Can you say, procrastination? prooooo...craaaas...ti...nation! ;)

So, who watched the Bachelor?? I did. I couldn't wait to see Jason with his "happily ever after" ending. How disappointing!!!!! I was rooting for Melissa from day one. I liked Molly too, but I think her wide eyes freaked me out every once in a while. ;)
So who despises Jason and who has forgiven him? I think I'm on the forgiven side. I don't like how he broke up with Melissa on national TV. I thought it was totally classless... and what made it even worse was him and Molly making out no more than 30 minutes after he crushed Melissa. EW!! I think Molly should've shown a little more restraint too!! Couldn't she have held off on the kissing???? Didn't she feel like sloppy seconds?? ...sorry. But even after saying all that, I do think it was the right thing to do(although not on national TV). Melissa bashed him for "not wanting to work on their relationship"... but Jason knew deep down that those feelings he had for Molly were not going to go away. I am all too familiar with wanting your heart to feel one way and it feeling another. It seriously has a mind of it's own and there is nothing you can do about it. I have WANTED to feel in love with someone and have wanted NOT to feel in love with someone. You just have to follow your heart. Cause if you follow your head, your heart will always haunt you. That's what I believe. So, I forgive Jason for breaking it off with Melissa, but I don't think he should've proposed to her in the first place. How can you propose marriage to someone if you have an emotional breakdown over someone else, just minutes (or even hours) before?!? Do they have some kind of contract that says he HAS to propose??? If that's the case... doesn't that mean that Brad broke the deal when he chose no one?? Anyway, that stupid show has been in my head for days. I was totally addicted to it. I have decided to forgive Jason and move on. ;) I hope that he and Molly are very happy together and I hope Melissa is even happier. Ahhhhhhh... I feel much better now. :) Hey... have you heard that Melissa is going to be on Dancing with the Stars tomorrow? Now I have to watch!

Enough of that. Now on to family stuff. :)

We went to the snow FINALLY, on Wednesday. We've been talking about going for a month. Thank goodness there was snow!! Not only was their snow, but it was snowing! I haven't seen the snow coming down since I went skiing in Colorado with my family. I was in the 11th grade. If you do the math, that's like 20 years! It was really neat, but cold!! It was much nicer when the wind stopped blowing. The snow we were in wasn't exactly powder, but we couldn't go up the hill any further. The higher we got, the more windy it seemed to get. And we could barely see through the fog. So we just pulled off in an open area and played for 2 hours. The kids had a blast. So did we. But I was very disappointed when we striped the kids puffy clothes off and Camryn's hands were like ice!! What in the world?? Her gloves didn't even feel wet. I don't get it. Poor thing. No wonder she kept asking to take her gloves off towards the end. I'm glad we left when we did cause I thought we were all pretty cozy in our puffy clothes. Camryn looked like the little boy from Christmas Story... "I can't put my aaaaarms dooown!" LOL!!!! She HATED the wind in her face, but when the wind was calm, she was having fun.

Enjoy the pics! :) I wanted to take more, but really didn't want to lug the camera around while sledding.

And finally... something I'm really excited about. :) I ordered a commission drawing of Camryn from an artist I met at last year's ComicCon (She recently started working for Nickelodeon) I LOVED her stuff so I asked her if she could draw Camryn as a fairy. These are the sketches she did for me to choose from. Check 'em out! We loved them so much that we are having her do one of Jaedon too! I can't wait to get them! Here's her blogspot: The Art of Laurie B

Alright! Time to watch Desperate Housewives!...I mean do taxes. :)
